The initiatives for decreasing our global GHG emissions are making use of various alternative methods, offering more holistic approaches to mitigate this issue. A very promising method to decrease emissions would be to promote, fund or ideally, develop GHG offsetting projects which not only offer the opportunity to promote sustainability and green conservation, but also generate carbon credits. The projects also offer additional returns and remunerations (profits) which would allow the Client to benefit more from these projects. 

 

It is important to outline that the Client can construct project and carbon credit portfolios through funding sustainable and eco-friendly projects and/or through setting up personal projects eligible for carbon credits.

Organisations that intend to promote projects eligible for carbon credits can therefore:

 

• Fund already existing, sustainable and or eco-friendly projects that are expected to generate carbon credits thanks to Shou Holdings network of available projects. We take great care in offering the best advice on the types of projects to invest in. We also engage in performing the necessary research, compliance verifications and feasibility studies to judge whether the project is credible, relevant and best suited for you. Each project may differ in the type and issuance rate of carbon credits. We shall therefore focus on determining which of the projects best suit the needs of the Client. Furthermore, once the project produces carbon credits, the Client may entrust Shou Holdings to safe keep the carbon credits through its numerous registry and broker accounts. This will alleviate the necessity for the Client to possess and entertain their own registry and broker accounts. Furthermore, we allow ease of sale, retirement, and transfer of the carbon credits on behalf of the Client.

• Promote/Develop their own project eligible for carbon credits. In this situation, Shou Holdings shall offer constant advice, support, and monitoring to allow the company to develop a successful project eligible for carbon credits. Various steps and procedures are required for a project to be eligible for carbon credits and each registry has their own criteria.  However, thanks to our direct relationships with and our in-depth understanding of registries worldwide, Shou Holdings is able to offer a quicker and more suited registration, development and monitoring of projects.

 

We are therefore engaged in providing the necessary support and help (from start to finish of the project) for the Client to set up a successful project that would eventually produce carbon credits.
